Latch is an app blocker by goapps that runs only on your phone. This is the same text the app shows under More › About › Privacy policy.
Which app is open, so it can block the apps you chose, and how long you use the apps your rules cover; the list of apps you can launch, so you can pick them; and whether its own permissions are on, for Protection health.
Accessibility, for blocking feeds: screen change events and view IDs in the apps you chose and in your home screen app, to close a blocked feed and to cover a blocked app's preview in Recent apps. It never reads text, messages, passwords or anything you type. Notification access, for silencing blocked apps: only which app sent a notification and its category, never what it says; notifications from blocked apps are snoozed until the block ends.
Your rules, modes, essentials, strict mode state, a decision log of the last 8 days (package names and times) and minutes per app per day for the last 90 days, for Insights. With an app lock, only a salted hash of your PIN or pattern is kept. All of it stays in Latch's private storage on this phone. Uninstalling Latch deletes it.
Nothing. Latch has no internet permission, no account, no ads, no analytics and no crash reporting. Diagnostics are a text file you can share yourself; nothing is sent unless you share it.
Latch Pro is bought through the Google Play app. Google handles the payment under its own privacy policy; Latch only learns whether Pro is active.
